The Manager of Retail Marketing will lead and execute the marketing strategy for assigned domestic retail accounts. The manager will work in tandem with the Marketing and Sales Team to develop materials and programs that support our brands positioning and each account's specific goals and needs. The Retail Marketing Manager will be responsible for translating domestic marketing campaigns & initiatives to meet the needs of our retail partners.
Responsibilities:
- Author Retail Marketing strategies for assigned accounts in partnership with the Marketing, Sales, and Education teams that includes sampling, visual merchandising, in-store & digital activation strategies for retail channels
- Partner with the Marketing team to ensure all strategies are consistent with global brand strategies and positioning
- Develop strategies and initiatives based on Marketing priorities, ensuring balance and appropriate focus among core vs. newness SKUs
- Collaborate with Sales to develop strategies that link back to overall brand objectives and deliver strong ROI. Execute all programs flawlessly and on-timeRepresent Marketing on weekly, monthly and quarterly retail and strategy calls
- Identify key seasonal opportunities at channel/customer level
- Ensure all deliverables (comps, gratis copy, visuals, spreadsheets, etc.) are executed on time
- Liaison with the Education department to develop support materials and training plans aligned with brand objectives
- Create and manage marketing calendar for assigned retailers
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven retail sales channel marketing experience required
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred
- Expertise in visual merchandising required
- Experience working for or supporting Beauty Industry retailers or Consumer Packaged Goods is required
- Ability to drive, communicate and organize projects from concept to execution
- Highly motivated, self-starter who manages multiple projects end-to-end and has a demonstrated track record of getting results, organizing and prioritizing deadlines
