Position Duties:


  • Assist Director of Sales and Marketing to grow Green Works current customer base.

  • Responsible for assisting, coordinating, inspection and assigning of work for Marketing Associates with the sharing of duties, sales and site visits.

  • Coordinate customer sales, visits, paperwork and shipping/receiving.

  • Manage intake of material along with tracking, disposal and storage.

  • Assist with the intake, tracking, processing, storage, handling, sales and dispersal of customer “write-off”.

  • Coordinate processes for customer vehicle liquidation through sales, auctions, etc.

  • Maintain open and efficient methods of communication with the department, the organization and customers.

  • Maintains safe conditions and good housekeeping.

  • Maintain customer required marketing reports. Create or update such reports as required.

  • Responsible for online website sales. Provide staffing, sales, service and accounting to organization and customer requirements.

  • Foster a relationship with customer that is conducive to expanded work opportunities and fund development.
  • Meet, coordinate, and assist Power Plant Outage Managers to support their needs for disposal of recyclable materials

and capital assets during plant outages.

  • Replace/represent Director, Sales and Marketing when necessary.
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent practical and professional work experience accepted.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years marketing experience in an industrial setting. Two (2) years supervisory skills.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
1. Ability to read and write procedures and instructions.
2. Ability to analyze and compile data.
3. Knowledgeable of power plant operations, inventory concepts, quality and raw material and commodities market.
4. Excellent working knowledge of computers, Word, Excel, Websites and E-mail.
5. Ability to interface with the customers, vendors and contractors as required.
6. Ability to manage vendor invoicing and account management.
7. Ability to train, supervise and inspect the activities and output of other employees.
8. Effectively manage flow of materials for a fixed area.
9. Manage e-Commerce sales platform (traditional and auction).
10. Assist in website management (content updates, cross dept. communications, communicate updates to mgmt.)
11. Assist with digital and social media platforms (SMS/MMS, Meta, Twitter, Instagram)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift more than 25 pounds. Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
MENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to prioritize and complete multiple assignments. Required to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Required to remain objective and to respond appropriately while serving customer. Must exhibit patience and a positive attitude. Demonstrate effective decision making and problem solving skills. Management level stress anticipated.
MACHINES/EQUIPMENT: Ability to operate personal computer to access and utilize word processing and spreadsheet programs. Ability to process and maintain confidential information.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
General office and production environment. Indoors/outdoors. Driving customer vehicles to various locations. Available for customer access 24/7 for power plant outages or storm outages.
OTHER: Must be able to adjust workload and work hours depending on office priorities and production scheduling. Must be able to work inside and outside in hot and cold weather. Proof of insurance and verification of driving record will be required in order to drive company owned vehicles. Travel may be required to multiple site locations.


Performs a variety of marketing and sales functions under the supervision of the Director, Sales and Marketing.


Duties are to include sales to new and existing customers, conduct auctions; corporate write offs, and support power plant outages for recyclable capital assets.
