What You'll Do
As a member of the Business Development team, you will play a key role in the expansion of Alert’s strategic partnership initiative that accelerates growth across its portfolio of brands. You will help drive new business opportunities through strategic relationships with key individuals and companies within the legal industry. Responsibilities include:
Identify new potential mass tort campaigns through law firms, media buyers, digital marketing companies, and other strategic partners- Identify new potential referral partner opportunities, contacts, and targets through prospecting and outreach
- Increase potential strategic partner opportunities, close/sign strategic partners, and develop a consistent pipeline of referrals from those partners
- Promote the business, new products, and new features to communicate our value to potential customers through various channels
- Manage individual social media to promote the business, new products/features, and develop potential customer relationships
- Attend in-person networking events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and develop new strategic partner opportunities
- Maintain and utilize our Salesforce CRM and SharePoint files with accurate and complete data and activity records
- Communicate service or product feedback internally among management and departments as necessary
- Organize, schedule, and participate in webinars and podcasts
- Create, maintain, and manage regular reporting and data analysis to drive effectiveness and process improvement
Daily/Regular Execution
Perform proactive outreach through multiple communication channels to develop new business opportunities (ie. Linkedin, email, phone calls, etc.)- Organize and maintain pipelines for both potential partners and for the referrals they have provided to our sales team
- Communicate with our internal sales team and provide support as needed to close referral opportunities consistently and efficiently
- Update, maintain, and manage data in SalesForce and other organizational tools
- Host and participate in webinars and podcasts with our legal industry partners
- Attend in-person conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and develop new business opportunities (some travel required)
- Track and report campaigns and BD activities to assist with strategic decision making and identify opportunities
- Stay up to date on current and potential mass tort cases
- Assist with marketing campaigns and efforts as needed
- Complete necessary administrative tasks such as updating reports and documents relating to the Partnerships team.
- Act as liaison between our partners and multiple Alert Communications departments
3+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, sales support, account management, or management consulting- Motivated, self-starter, who can work with little supervision and thrives in a dynamic environment
- Strategic thinking and planning experience to identify opportunities and implement systems or actions to achieve sales targets
- Natural curiosity: desire to learn and be a part of a new business venture
- Ability to adapt to changing needs of the organization
- Experience working with digital marketing agencies and or technology platforms a plus
- Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- BA/BS required
