Job Summary:
The Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for managing the talent acquisition staff and acting as a resource to department managers for staffing-related needs in assigned functional areas.
Essential Functions:
- In conjunction with Director, lead development, maintenance, and communication of respective policies and procedures
- Continuously develop, document and improve processes for all staffing-related needs including but not limited to postings, screenings, interviews, reference /background checks, and employment offers
- Ensure staff and CareSource managers understand and follow processes to gain consistency and minimize risk to the company
- Collaborate with recruiters to source, interview, and select the best candidates for the company
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
- Participate in developing and executing department goals and objectives
- Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
- Maximize efficiency by identifying operational issues arising during day to day administration and recommending / proposing enhancements
- Effectively lead cross-functional teams to implement stated goals and process changes
- Ensure processes are documented, up-to-date, and followed with appropriate cross training for key functions
- Maintain accurate files and records
- Assist with compliance and related functions as needed
- Guide and direct the Human Resources team to successfully complete daily tasks and projects
- Interview, select and train new team members
- Conduct performance management activities for direct reports, to include monthly one-on-one meetings, annual performance appraisals and discipline as appropriate
- Performs any other job related requirements as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, or Finance or equivalent work experience required
- Seven (7) or more years of progressive Human Resources experience required
- Five (5) yearof management experience is preferred

Licensure and Certification:
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification or related certification is preferred
Working Conditions:
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
