Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities and Job Expectations:

As a Manufacturing Engineer in our manufacturing environment, you will assist in many areas of the plant and production. Some of the specific duties of a Manufacturing Engineer will consist of the following:

Assist with lean projects on the manufacturing floor.

Assist with continuous improvement by implementation, organization, and adjustments.

Assist with inventory counts.

Troubleshoot production issues and mechanical issues for maintenance.

Assist with organization of production floor.

Inspection of cosmetic defects on in-process and finished products.

Work directly with lab technicians to resolve issues in finished products.

Versatilely use different forms of measurement and test equipment to ensure specification standards are met.

Manufacturing Engineer Requirements:

Must have completed or be enrolled in an engineering program.

Preferred SkillsBasic literacy and numerical skillset.

Additional NotesThe ideal candidate for this role will be mathematically inclined, a team-based employee, have basic knowledge of tools, and be able to work with a caliber of different level employees to achieve the quality and production goals. Training will be provided.
