OVERVIEW & IMPACT:

The MarCom Specialist will play a pivotal role in trade show and event planning.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support overall events planning and organization
  • Work with the Samsung Semiconductor Inc. MarCom team America and HQ on significant tradeshow such as Customer Tech Day and key industry events and deliver logistical support to internal clients.
  • Support the company's thought leadership through participation in/ enabling leaders to speak at opportunities with conferences, tradeshow, and Samsung-sponsored events, and customer event.
  • Help in outbound and inbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in certain areas such as events planning, advertising, optimization and content development.
  • Assembles creative and innovative event attractions based on internal capabilities or outsources to qualified vendors.
  • Manage the housing for SSI trade show attendees including interfacing with hotel and housing bureaus.
  • Develop solid relationships with business units to successfully obtain time sensitive information as needed for event logistics.
  • Create purchase orders for trade show services, follow up on invoices and reconcile to invoices
  • Manage the shipping logistics of properties for trade shows including creating documentation
  • Inventory and manage on-site booth properties and trade show supplies.
  • Align with HQ on digital marketing programs including planning, implementing and monitoring for the U.S. region

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:


  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of marketing communications and/or event planning experience.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
