Position Summary:
Reporting to the Marketing Director Education the Marketing Coordinator will support the IHI Marketing/Communications Education team across multiple integrated marketing projects, social media management, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and priorities, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be comfortable working collaboratively and independently.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Support the Education Marketing team initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing plans that include email, social media, and content development
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
- Evaluate and monitor marketing campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
- Conduct marketing research and identify trends
- Assist the marketing managers with departmental budget tracking and expense reports
- Support strategic departmental marketing projects as assigned

- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Resourceful, innovative, and a self-starter who can work collaboratively and independently
- Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Organized and detail-oriented
- A quick learner, able to manage many projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to manage projects to successful completion and work within tight deadlines

Position Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or relevant field requirement; or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, advertising, communications (experience can include internship)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 365)
- Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital and email marketing
