Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced marketing manager to lead marketing for our expansive data and analytics capabilities, targeting the Asset Management industry. Reporting to the Head of Marketing for Asset Management, you will work closely with sales, product, and business partners to develop the go-to-market plan, shape messaging, and execute omni-channel marketing programs that drive interest, engagements, and leads. You will work with some of the foremost experts and thought leaders in the asset management industry – helping bring their thought leadership to life. As the hands-on marketer, you will manage the annual marketing planning process and budget, help develop audience insights, take the lead on stakeholder reporting and oversee the PR and events strategy for the business
Experience in the asset management industry, a digital & social-first mindset, strong storytelling skills, and proven experience in managing performance-based marketing programs is critical for this role. Enthusiasm, creativity, collaboration, and not getting constrained by limited budgets are keys to success.
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategy marketing plan for our data and analytics capabilities, aligned with the marketing budget, and designed to deliver on business and sales goals

Develop a cohesive messaging strategy that builds our reputation as the leading authority in the asset management industry

Partner with sales and business teams to understand the market opportunity and, competitive, client needs to help shape our go-to-market plans

Be responsible for the timely execution of all marketing programs that drive the demand for our products and services.

Deploy an appropriate mix of digital-first marketing tactics to deliver consistent and sustained marketing messages that reach the target audience in each market. Advance our influencer, PR, and events strategy.

Create scalable campaign structures that fuel the sales pipeline

Elevate our brand in the minds of asset managers through high-impact events and thought leadership programs.

Manage the marketing calendar as well as budget

Embrace a performance marketing culture and optimize the lead generation funnel

Measure and report on the impact of marketing activities to maximize ROI. Understand the impact of marketing guide spending optimization decisions.
Qualifications
-
University BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred
-
B2B marketing professional with 7+ years of experience in a financial service and/or tech company. Asset management industry marketing is required, ideally from a fund or asset manager or professional services provider to the industry.

Have a global mindset with proven international marketing expertise

Experience in social channels to amplify thought leadership, drive followership

Ability to understand business needs, and audience insights and translate them into an actionable marketing strategy.

Experience in independently developing and executing multi-channel marketing programs

Strong project management skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple facets of a marketing program and deliver per timeline/budget.
Salary range $112,450.00- $150,000.00. Bonus Eligible.
