Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager supports the growth of the Credit Union by leading and collaborating with a team of marketing professionals to develop and execute campaigns for our products and services. As a leader and a natural project manager with strong time management skills, you'll help to lead a team that drives the go-to-market efforts of numerous financial products and services.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of designers and promotions specialists in the creation, management, and execution of the Credit Union’s various marketing campaigns with a strong eye for design and an ability to react and update projects to keep them moving forward.
- Write, edit, and oversee production of assets and collateral while working with digital, content, and product marketing team members to execute campaigns.
- Provide management and oversight of internal and cross-departmental projects and campaigns.
- Understand and utilize product positioning to drive marketing campaigns that align with target audiences and help to differentiate our products.
- Build promotions budget recommendations, and oversee the budget management and financial accountability on campaigns.
- Provide influential leadership with a successful track record of influencing team members in a positive way to achieve results.
- Support the company brand through the adherence to branding guidelines.
- Internalize and demonstrate the GECU Core Values with a supportive and positive outlook.
- Provide additional support to the team and organization as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years’ experience in marketing overseeing campaigns and experience managing a team of marketing professionals.
- Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns, and experience analyzing marketing campaign data to determine if campaigns are meeting business objectives.
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience presenting professional concepts to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives.
- Budget management experience.
- Resourceful, assertive, and takes initiative. Passionate, with an understanding of the financial industry, preferred.
- Proficient with PC programs, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience with Adobe Creative Suite software, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat desired.
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools a plus.
