Position Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing demand for Pregis product solutions within existing and prospective customers, developing marketing plans, and executing projects and initiatives that support Pregis’ overall business strategy. This individual will take the lead on all assigned product-related business strategies and marketing initiatives.

Reports into Marketing. No direct reports.

Hybrid work schedule: Mondays and Fridays remote, Tuesdays through Thursdays in office.

Will work closely with Pregis product development team, sustainability, product/category managers & sales managers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive and well-aligned marketing plan for each of the assigned product categories with measurable goals and deliverables
  • Act as the guardian of the category brand(s) to ensure compliance with the brand promise and product positioning while achieving overall business goals. Includes maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and sustainability claims; labeling and packaging consistency; trademark management
  • Manage the creation of multimedia marketing collateral, campaign content and sales support tools. This includes but is not limited to web and brochure copywriting, presentation development, video storyboards/scripts and providing creative direction for asset design. Work closely with internal and external partners to develop deliverables according to launch timelines
  • Coordinate asset management of all marketing and sales tools across platforms (web, print, app, DAM)
  • Perform research on market, customer, and competitors. Support product development and sales managers in identifying trends, new development opportunities and growth strategies
  • Work with vertical specialists, channel, and sales managers to develop programs to generate incremental sales and/or profitability. Measure and report on campaign results
  • Support Product/Category Managers and trainers by creating and maintaining training materials, coordinating training events and communicating with participants
  • Identify success story and case study subjects for internal and external promotion. Copywrite success stories and case studies as needed
  • Train and work closely with the sales organization as the key knowledge interface between the voice of the customer and the company. Take an active role in driving adoption of the brand messaging and ensuring consistency with the Pregis brand voice
  • Engage with customers to develop product-related growth strategies and initiatives
  • Partner with key stakeholders on the development of high value proposals and pitch materials
  • Support and coordinate participation at customer and industry events for assigned categories/segments including merchandising, coordination of product displays and demos as well as pre & post show lead generation
  • Maintain knowledge of marketing trends, developments, and best practices including search engine marketing, advertising, public relations, tradeshows, lead generation and other campaigns to generate demand & sales leads

Requirements

  • University degree or college diploma in business
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a marketing position
  • Exceptional knowledge of marketing strategies, concepts, and practices.
  • B2B marketing experience desired
  • Strong project management & performance measurement skills
