Ready to make a difference? TechFlow, Inc. is hiring a Marketing and Communications (MarCom) Manager to join our fun and talented team. The Marketing and Communication Manager will lead the development of compelling stories through the most effective internal and external media and channels. The Marketing and Communications Manager will need to have experience managing teams and possess the tempered confidence and know-how to direct all MarCom activities. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused with a thorough understanding of federal contracting. This role will report directly to the CEO and shape the company’s internal and external messaging. The focus will be on generating value through the development and execution of a strong brand strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the development and execution of external and internal communications strategies in coordination with business unit leaders
• Provide guidance to the organization's program operations to support their MarCom goals and ensure consistent messaging
• Develop and implement public relations and promotional campaigns that enhance the organization's brand and its presence among target audiences
• Oversee and provide strategic input as needed so that the organization continues to maintain a dynamic and engaging social media presence
• Manage costs and budgets for specific marketing campaigns and tactics
• Identify weaknesses and opportunities in marketing/branding efforts to add to our entrepreneurial growth in terms of new contracts and professional services
• Leverage insights to recommend new marketing strategies and optimize existing ones
• Analyze the effectiveness of our strategy and optimize expenditure to deliver the best ROI
• Manage internal and external marketing resources, delegate projects/tasks and ensure quality work
• Mentor internal marketing team members to promote development and employee growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in writing, designing, and executing communications programs at a strategic and tactical level
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a MarCom role
• Experience creating and managing content on networks, internet and intranet platforms, and using and exploiting the potential of social media platforms
• Strong management skills with experience training, developing, supervising, and appraising personnel
• Strong problem-solving skills, able to utilize internal and external resources to reach resolution
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously, perform in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of detail and accuracy
• Experience supporting digital initiatives from concept creation to implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Federal Contracting and Professional Services
• Successful track record as a collaborator, multi-tasker, and self-starter who exercises discretion and independent judgment
• Marketing or relevant certifications
