Sherpa’s Marketing & Sales Specialist will be instrumental to the organization’s long-term and short-term marketing & sales success. Your amazing focus, attention to detail, and comfort with secondary research techniques will drive the upkeep of our CRM data. Your enthusiastic and professional communication via phone and email will make you a force to be reckoned with for our inside sales follow-up efforts. Job Duties:

  • Inside sales follow-up. Follow up with clients regarding outstanding proposals via phone and electronically. Prepare external sales and marketing documents.
  • Data research and entry. Responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of data in our CRM database. Research potential leads and update in our CRM database accordingly. Conference support. Pack and ship exhibition materials to arrive on time. Ensure that there is enough literature and swag items for all conferences, and keep conference schedule up to date.
  • Social media support. Responsible for posting to our social media channels to drive awareness.
  • Marketing support. Responsible for a variety of marketing support activities, including: producing highly accurate and segmented data lists for marketing campaigns using Salesforce and marketing automation tools; website maintenance; maintaining various marketing documentation; scheduling email marketing campaigns; coordinating online and offline marketing campaigns.
  • Event logistics. Support planning, executing, and staffing all Sherpa events.

Job Requirements:

  • At least two years of marketing-related support experience required.
  • At least two years of high volume data entry experience required, preferably utilizing a CRM system (SalesForce).
  • Bachelor’s degree required in related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • One year of inside sales experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with secondary research techniques preferred.
  • Extremely high attention to detail is a must.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce highly preferred.
  • Outstanding command of English.
  • Charismatic and highly professional communicator to external and internal stakeholders, in person as well as over the phone and through email.
  • Highly familiar and comfortable with internet research, social media and learning new software.
