As our Solutions Architect , you will...

Be Accountable and Responsible

Guide clients in the creation and optimization of advanced marketing automation and CRM solutions. You will lead the complete development lifecycle, including gathering requirements, conducting strategy workshops, designing the solution, and
supporting a team of consultants through the build and QA process. Solutions Architects also play a critical role at during the pre-sales process, helping our sales team define and scope best-in-class solutions and roadmaps for our clients. Solutions Architects play a critical role in setting new clients up for success during the project kickoff phase. Additionally, Solutions Architects are thought leaders and ambassadors for MERGE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, conduct strategy workshops, design, and document technical solutions, translate business needs into technical execution, receive feedback, and present results.
  • Participate in Business Reviews to ensure clients strategically progress along the Marketo and marketing automation engagement curve.
  • Create cutting edge, effective, and efficient solutions and processes. Be innovative - think outside the box and identify better ways of doing things, often leveraging new technologies.
  • Develop specific subject-matter expertise on technologies/practices intersecting with Marketo and acquire certifications if applicable.
  • Design, build, and troubleshoot solutions compatible with the Marketo and CRM environments, including process optimization, database architectures, and custom integrations.
  • Support the Director of Solutions Architecture and broader Consulting Services Team by providing best practices, strategic support, repeatable solutions, technical expertise, and developing processes and training across projects and client accounts.
  • Support the Director of Solutions Architecture in new services development.
  • Be a thought leader and ambassador for MERGE, including speaking at roadshows, events, and webinars and participating in additional thought leadership opportunities in collaboration with the MERGE marketing team.
  • Participate in pre-sales calls with the sales team and scope new projects by defining the modules, deliverables, and estimated level of effort to meet client needs. Support the sales team in translating this information into an SOW and roadmap and presenting it to prospective clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience using Marketo and 10+ years of professional experience in a Marketing team.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, deploying, and maintaining marketing automation solutions to multi-team and multi-tool business problems
  • Experience writing documentation for marketing or interdepartmental initiatives
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications for a project
  • Understanding of best practices in marketing automation, lead management, and revenue performance management
  • Ability to interface directly with clients and cross functional teams
  • Marketo certification(s) are a plus and required for the role after joining the team

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $153,000.00

Salary differential is based on seniority, merit, education, training and experience. MERGE's career ladders reflect department growth from Associate through Partner levels, with details of roles and responsibilities associated with each level. New hires are assigned a job level within a particular position based on these criteria and salary is set within the job level based on these criteria. Growth from one level to the next occurs when employees master their role, and are promoted into the next level, generally during salary review cycles which are posted in the employee handbook.
