I. PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Marlin Bar is a relaxed refuge, where our guest can unwind with a cocktail, light fare, and simultaneously enjoy some retail therapy.

Our Dishwasher is responsible for creating an exceptionally clean and positive environment in order to deliver an outstanding culinary and retail experience to our Guests while following policies, procedures, and by meeting all standards.

II. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Function

  • Actively participate in a team environment that promotes financial success.
  • Consistently execute company policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in all location related meetings and training sessions; apply learned skills on- the-job.
  • Be receptive to feedback and coaching.
  • Store and rotate product during deliveries.
  • Clean and sanitize tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
  • Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.
  • Ensure the safety, cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen by maintaining specified agency standards.
  • Other duties as required and that may occasionally be necessary to support the business.

IV. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Certifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of high-volume culinary/hospitality experience preferred
  • Must have current food handler’s card and other certification required by federal/state/local law

Competencies

  • Punctual, team oriented, multi-tasking skills, organization skills, listening and communication skills.

Special Considerations

Lift and or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently or occasionally

Bending/stooping/kneeling required frequently or occasionally

Twisting required frequently or occasionally

Routine standing of approximately 8 hours per day.
