Reporting into the Global VP of Strategy and Ventures for Mars Petcare, the Mars Petcare Ecosystem PMO will be responsible for the day-to-day project oversight of all Ecosystem Pilot projects in close collaboration with key stakeholders across all US Petcare divisions (Pet Nutrition, Royal Canin, Kinship, Science and Diagnostics, Vetsource, and Mars Veterinary Health); the Digital Technologies team; the Global Data and Analytics team; and Pet Insurance ‘partners’ to drive business transformation. This team will work hand in hand with stakeholders across the Mars Ecosystem to drive internal startup, development, and incubation of new business capabilities and use cases with the intent to accelerate ecosystem growth that is targeted to achieve 10% of all Mars Petcare revenue by 2030.

What are we looking for?

• Master’s Degree in Business or Technical Field (engineering, marketing, or supply chain management).
• 5 years of project management or business experience with significant exposure to project leadership, especially in the digital world.
• Professional track record showcasing ability to partner with senior leadership.
• Excellent storytelling capabilities: strong preference for talent able to create compelling narratives from data analytics insights into senior leadership sound bites.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Track and manage all identified projects within the US Ecosystem ensuring all project objectives are met right first time, on time, in full.
• Ensure alignment and connectivity of stakeholders and x-functional teams throughout Global, Regional (North America), Ecosystem, & local teams as well as other new business opportunities within the Ecosystem roadmap.
• Facilitate projects execution by ensuring good pace and connection, setting meetings, tracking actions and milestones, raising alerts, and helping on escalation when needed using internal processes.
• Define and track KPIs to inform pivot-perish-persevere decision on Ecosystem pilots
• Implements timeline by mobilizing cross-functional teams to define scope, build timelines, and execute projects in the United States.
• Manage risks, escalating for resolution where required into Ecosystem program director and Ecosystem steerco (3 business GMs + Global Data & Analytics and Strategy).
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
