JOB OVERVIEW

MPG is hiring an experienced accounting professional to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of its Order to Cash finance function. This is a hands-on role reporting to the CFO in an organization that believes in curiosity, resourcefulness, and candid debate. The role also directly supports the leader of the Order to Cash business unit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a single Data Management point of contact across MPG business units, business functions, and major projects.
  • Design and implement processes to enhance MPG data quality and accuracy, timeliness of data updates, and support business operational reporting and analytics needs
  • Establish and communicate KPIs for the efficiency of data maintenance processes (e.g., cycle time to fully implement and to update a customer contract or contract amendment)
  • Validate and enhance the business and technical integration points among functions and systems to improve interoperability and insights from reporting/analytics
  • Define or clarify ownership and accountability of critical data assets to ensure they are effectively managed and maintain integrity throughout MPG
  • Leverage data as a strategic enterprise asset enabling data-based decision analytics
  • Improve productivity and efficiency of daily business operations by identifying and streamlining data related hand-offs across teams
  • Work as part of the MPG and Consulting team to deliver MPG’s new ERP program from Analysis through Design, Develop, Deploy and Operate phases
  • 5+ years hands-on experience implementing or operating Master Data, Data Governance, or Analytics: in an operational role in Finance or Supply Chain -or- in an ERP functional/technical implementation role
  • Strong overall ERP and analytics competency
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Finance, Order-to-Cash, and Procurement data, reporting needs/metrics, and business processes
  • Demonstrated leadership, ability to organize, plan, and anticipate future needs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical skills and mindset; facility with Excel
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Teamwork mindset

  • Preferred:
  • Experience in CPG, specifically working with major food, drug, mass (FDM) retailers
  • Experience or Certification in Microsoft Dynamics


VACCINATION STATUS

MPG does not require candidates to be vaccinated when hired. However, if the client the role is being hired to support requires all candidates to be vaccinated, MPG will require those candidates working with that client to be vaccinated
