Responsibilities:

1. Ensures BOL, Packing slip, and PO are all in agreement when staging of pallets.

2. Under direction of Warehouse Manager carries out priorities with Maud Borup Inc. operation consistent with production needs.

3. Uses necessary controls, procedures and operating plans to attain maximum efficiency and productivity.

4. Assists with coordination and communication of production schedule to reach 100% on-time, complete deliveries.

5. Assists with initiating the appropriate procedures and controls to assure a consistently high quality product, which meets specifications and customer requirements, as well as meeting company established goals.

6. Assists with receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by following company policies and procedures.

7. Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements to ensure the Company is adhering to requirements.

8. Assist in controlling inventory levels by conducting physical counts: reconciling with data storage system.

9. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by cleaning, proper storage, inspecting equipment and reporting needed repairs.

10. Records manually receipt of raw materials, supplies and finished goods in system.

11. Assists recycling program and coordination of the scrap operation.

12. Assists movement of finished goods and raw materials between main warehouse, auxiliary warehouse and production floor.

13. Assists with the receipt of products, cartons, pallets and other supplies from suppliers.

14. Inspects Inbound and Outbound carriers to prevent damage or contamination of product.

15. Assist with stretch wrapping pallet process ensuring product is encased for safe shipping.

16. Is knowledgeable regarding necessary policies and controls to assure a safe and orderly work environment, plant safety and housekeeping programs.

17. Is familiar with SQF Food safety standards.

18. Knowledge of procedures, work instructions and associated paperwork as required.

19. Is responsible for reporting food safety issues immediately.

Requirements:
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.

- Basic knowledge of manufacturing techniques
Knowledge of good manufacturing methods, company operations, and inventory control procedures.

- Ability to effectively communicate in written, verbal and interpersonal levels with Warehouse Manager.

- Goal oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines related to shipping and receiving.
Computer skills.

- Knowledge of SQF Level 2 food quality requirements and continuous improvement methods.

- Good physical condition required for lifting, walking, pulling, bending over, and climbing

- Must be safety conscious and comply with safety rules and regulations.
