Material Handler

Current Shift available: 3rd Shift 9:45pm to 6am Monday through Friday

Starting pay: $18 hourly

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Unload, scan and put away product from trailers accurately and efficiently

• Load shipments accurately and quickly within shipment window times and maintain 100% on time delivery rating

• Stage materials to ensure no disruption of shipping requirements

• Ensure all safety measures and standards are met. Follow proper protocols in and around the plant (use horn, stop at intersections, proper stacking, be aware of surroundings)
• Complete the pre-shift fork truck sheet, and operate the fork truck
• Ensure all material is scanned and identified in proper locations with valid labels and understand the impact
• Follow instructions given by corresponding department unless unsafe or questionable
• Respect the dignity and rights of others act with integrity and humility
• Self-Actualize, be all you can be, apply your gifts and talents so you can contribute in the best way possible
• Work as a team with stewardship & compliance
• Verify packs are suitable for use, and place in proper locations

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience operating a forklift

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience utilizing an RF Scanner
• Experience with inventory control
