Responsibilities
Assists the Facility Services manager and Scientific Instruments Services manager in tasks per their discretion. That may entail simple cleanup of mechanic areas, moving heavy equipment, assisting HVAC technicians, electricians with large projects where they need a second set of hands.
This person will assist the dock on a PRN status when needed. Will be expected to cover dock tasks completely to provide vacation coverage and\or sick time coverage. Will need to have a knowledge of the entire Foundation to be able to do deliveries.

Responsibilities on the dock:

Counting packages when FedEx, UPS, Staples, Amazon delivers. Pulling packing slips to give to Data Entry\mailroom clerks for receiving. Deliver to labs in a timely manner. Check in supply, furniture, and equipment deliveries.

Checks in incoming supply, furniture, and equipment deliveries. Inspects cartons and packages for exterior damage. Coordinates with departments the moving or delivering of furniture, materials, and equipment to labs and offices, including offsite locations. May make office deliveries of office supplies, i.e., copier paper, copier toner, and generic stationery. May notify departments of receipt of express packages. Performs occasional errands using company vehicles. May assist mailroom, maintenance, and event personnel with repairs, renovations and room setup/teardown. Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.


Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Requires a valid Oklahoma drivers license.Knowledge of safety procedures, i.e., lifting, moving heavy furniture and equipment. Knowledge of purchase order process. Knowledge of departments and mail stop numbers. Knowledge of packaging, shipping, and return requirements.Customer service oriented, cooperates with others, works as a team player, and contributes to team objectives. Gives full attention to instructions and takes the time to understand the points being made. Reads and understands documents and instructions. Performs work accurately. Lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects as required. Communicates clearly so others understand. Inspects deliveries and materials being shipped to identify errors, defects, or problems. Accepts constructive criticism and deals with high stress situations.
