Sylvan Learning Center located in Manteca, California is looking for a Part-Time Teachers. We are seeking highly motivated teachers with an enthusiastic approach & ability to develop a strong rapport with students. To qualify, you MUST have a teaching credential from any state (current or expired).

Teachers will:

< > Instruct students in small 3:1 student-teacher ratio

< > Use pre-planned lessons & proven methods developed by educators

< > Use familiar materials approved by schools

< > Motivate students of all ages to excel academically

Subjects taught at Sylvan include :

• Math - Elementary through Middle School.
• High School Math through Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP-Calculus, Statistics
• Study Skills
• SAT Prep / ACT Prep
• Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
• Robotics and Programming (Requires related experience but credential is not required)

Teachers are assigned specific subjects & students based upon their qualifications, credentials & experience.

Part-time positions: After school hours (Mon-Thu 3:30-7:30pm, Fri 3:30-6:30pm & Sat 9:30am-12:30pm). You don't have to be available for teaching all hours. Sylvan offers extended hours during summer.
