MD/DO-Pulmonary

University of Michigan Health-West is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pulmonologist to join an innovative, collaborative environment. The physician is responsible for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of the health problems presented by the patients seeing extensive patient population with pulmonary fibrosis, sarcoidosis, and pulmonary hypertension.

Basic Qualifications: Education - Medical Degree (MD or DO) in Medicine Licenses -Current M.D. or D.O. license for the state of Michigan. Current State of Michigan and Federal Narcotics Licenses. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): ACLS required if stress test is performed or as required by specialty.

The recent agreement to develop The Cancer Network of West Michigan, a joint venture between Mercy Health and University of Michigan Health-West, leverages the combined resources and capabilities of the two West Michigan health systems and Michigan Medicine, the academic medical center of the University of Michigan. The Cancer Network of West Michigan encompasses three West Michigan campuses including: University of Michigan Health-West located in Wyoming (MI), Mercy Saint Mary’s located in Grand Rapids and Mercy Muskegon located in Muskegon.
