Responsibilities:

· Perform research and development activities

· Manage the daily actions for various product development or sustaining production projects with the ability to report on progress during routine reviews

· Create and maintain accurate and detailed specifications and technical packages that assure accurate development, production, and costing

· Work closely with the central R&D team to trial new product technologies, identify critical processing conditions and effectively implement new product technologies into production

· Lead Design and Drawing Reviews for new components on assigned projects

· Sustain legacy products

Requirements:

· Experience in a product design or industrial design environment

· Proven problem solving and trouble shooting skills are required

· A passion and enthusiasm for innovation will be an asset

· Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of organization

· Must be able to develop detailed specification and prepare technical packages

· Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, Project)

· Knowledge of construction methods, including adhesive bonding and heat sealing is a plus

· Experience in inflatable products, apparel or textile products is desired but not required

Education:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or

· Mechanical/Technical training with 2+ years’ experience

Salary:

· Commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
