We are currently looking for a Full-time Mechanical Maintenance Technician!

MUST have strong mechanical background, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Experience with hydraulics & pneumatics strongly preferred!

LOCATION: Oxford, MS

HOURS: Monday - Thursday, 2nd shift (2p - midnight). Some OT as needed. Work 4 days/week!

PAY: $28-$35/hr DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs preventative maintenance on our industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Assists with diagnosing and troubleshooting problems. Replaces parts and components and makes other necessary repairs to machinery.
• May perform tasks such as fabrication, assembly/disassembly of equipment, measuring, cutting, burning, welding, and pipefitting.
• Reads, understands and applies mechanical and structural blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic diagrams, and circuitry.

REQUIREMENTS

• HS diploma or GED
• Two years of mechanical maintenance experience in the area of industrial maintenance, welding, or a closely related field is preferred. Certifications or education from an accredited trade school may substitute for experience.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of safe and proper usage of hand/power tools, including welders, cutting torches, and plasma cutters.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematic diagrams (hydraulic & pneumatic), and equipment manuals.
• Job requires tasks that involve pushing/pulling and lifting of 50+ pounds, and standing/climbing in an 8hr shift.
