ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned. The Superintendent is responsible to oversee and manage manpower, material, and methods of installation of MedGas. This includes training, evaluating, and discharging all field staff under their direction. The goals of the Superintendent position are to a) produce a satisfied customer; b) Manage manpower performance, productivity, and pre-planning; c) creation of professional field teams through comprehensive training.
Job Site Responsibilities:
- Require foremen to perform punch-lists and/or deficiency list remediation immediately upon receipt. Upon completion, documentation will be provided with a letter to the general contractor.
- Walk all projects with general foreman and foreman to create an accurate 3 week look ahead.
- Work with the foreman to use their 3 week look a head to minimize emergency purchase request and emergency pre-fab request.
- Require foremen to be fully responsible for their projects. If a foreman is pulled off a job to start a new job, make sure a proper transition is done.
- Review weekly Job Cost Reports. Monitor project budgets with all foremen.
- Check on subcontractors continually. Quality of the installation, plans, and specifications are met. Proper personnel should be maintained along with timeliness.
- Promote a team concept. Work together and treat other employees the same way you would expect to be treated. Core Value - Be Respectful
- Ensure trade foremen are following QA/QC protocol and supporting responsible efforts of QA/QC inspector's reporting and follow-up measures.
