DESCRIPTION
Decypher is seeking Medical Appointment Clerk candidates to provide support for the Internal Medicine Clinic at the Naval Hospital Pensacola in Pensacola, Florida.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, greet, and direct patients, visitors, and hospital personnel and provide accurate responses in a friendly, courteous, and concerned manner.
- Fax, copy, scan, print, and type documents to complete daily tasks.
- Use the Composite Healthcare System (CHCS), the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Applications (AHLTA), and various other databases in support of patient care and to satisfy administrative requirements.
- Verify patient eligibility and enrollment status.
- Schedule, reschedule and/or cancel appointments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- At least, one (1) year related experience
- US Citizen
- NACI clearance
