Job Requirements

Medical Assistant/ AA/ CMA/

• 1 years experience after graduation, preferred but not required
• Valid and current Medical Assistant Certificate

Job Description

• Under supervision, performs administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of the physician/provider on duty.
• Handles front office duties which include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing and coding for insurance purposes.
• Assist in the clinic by taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, administers injections and drawing blood.
• Complies with ATC policies/procedures.
• Complies with client facility policies/procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Communicates information effectively to appropriate personnel.
