MEDICAL ASSISTANT/ /SPECIALISTS OFFICE

WE HAVE AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR A MEDICAL ASSISTANT

NO NIGHTS or WEEKENDS.

THE POSITION:

We are looking for an experienced MEDICAL ASSISTANT to join our team.

SCHEDULE:

Monday to Friday, Our day starts at 6:45AM

REQUIREMENTS:

Medical Assistant

Knowledge of the healthcare field..

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Rooming patients

Taking vital signs

Entering all information into the patients healthcare record

Documenting medications they are taking, and any changes in their health.

Pulling up all test results prior to the patients visit

Doing prior authorizations

Preparing the patient for the Nurse Practitioner and Physician to see.

Demonstrate excellent professionalism, confidentiality, and customer

service.

Detail oriented with strong follow-up.

Ability to multi-task.

Faxing reports to referring physicians and scanning information into patient

charts.

Returning all phone calls and checking for messages left on the Medical

Assistant's phone line.

Assisting Respiratory Therapist as needed.

Experience with eClinical Works is a plus.

Function independently with established guidelines.

Work in collaboration with physician leader

Must maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling patient's

medical records and information.

Perform other related duties as required.

SALARY 40,000 PLUS DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
