Medical Assistant - Plastic Surgery Practice (Beverly Hills)

(higher rates for candidates with plastic surgery and Nextech Experience)

Seeking a friendly, out-going, kind, well-organized, medical assistant for a top Beverly Hills plastic surgery practice and med spa.

Top applicants are friendly, outgoing, compassionate and enjoy working as a team. Prior experience in a plastic surgery practice preferred.

JOB SUMMARY: Assist plastic surgeon with concierge patient care including obtaining history and physical, preparing pre-op paperwork and surgical charts. Other responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans and medication, nursing procedures, such as suture removal, dressing changes, and completion of pathology and lab requisition documents.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
2. Five years of experience working as a medical assistant for a plastic surgeon.

3. Medical Assistant Certification

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Excellent communication skills.
2. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
3. Ability to work as a team member.
4. Well-organized with attention to detail and follow-up.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Empathetic to patient needs and concerns.
7. Ability to work well with physicians, anticipating their needs regarding patient treatment.
