Randstad Healthcare is hiring Medical Assistants to help screen for the local Colorado schools. This assignment will last at least until end of school year in December 2021. If interested please apply to this positing and qualified candidates will be contacted quickly.

Position Summary

We are looking for Medical Assistants to support our COVID Testing Team in a dynamic environment.

• The COVID-19 Testers are responsible for ensuring collections are completed in a timely manner for the location assigned.
• Will need to communicate effectively to internal and external clients.
• Our COVID Team is looking for members that are flexible, adaptable, reliable, customer service oriented, with a 'have fun' attitude.
• Full PPE is provided.
• Would like individuals who can commit to working through the end of 2021, but ideally would want them to work through to the end of the school year and potentially beyond.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists customers in monitoring mid-turbinate COVID-19 test
• Responsible for the accurate and complete documentation in the accessioning log, lab log, and any other site documentation as delegated by the Lead Medical Assistant and Regional Site Director
• Ensures proper and complete patient identification on requisitions and specimens
• Responsible for specimen labeling and preparation for laboratory analysis
• Performs clerical duties necessary for specimen processing, e.g. filing or scanning paperwork
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical Assistant License/Certification for Colorado is a plus
• Experience with COVID- 19 Swabbing (Preferred)

Must be COVID vaccinated - 1st dose is fine to start

Shift/Pay

• $23/hr
• M-F 7am-5pm (Work at one school 7am-11am and then travel to another school to work 1pm-5pm) -- Will be paid for mileage and travel time

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $23.00 per hour
