Seeking Experienced Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with Office procedures and injections.
• Maintains medical supplies inventory and performing preventive maintenance to keep medical equipment operating.
• Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history and medications
• Obtain Vitals on all patients
• Keys in Patient information for the Physicians into EHR.
• Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards; facility policies and procedures; and federal, state, and local requirements.
• Assist physicians with patient, medical office and pharmacy calls and questions.

Qualifications for Medical Assistant

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited medical assistance certification program preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner at all times
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
• Firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies
• experience with eClinicalWorks preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $8.00 - $18.00 per hour
