Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM – 4:30 PM. Overtime usually available.

90 day temp-to-hire opportunity

Salary: Starts around $13-15/hr depending on experience.

An auditor obtains maximum savings for clients by accurately entering data and reviewing medical bills according to state laws, fee schedules, and other guidelines. .

Am I qualified for this job?

• High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred
• 2-3 years of medical bill review (or related) experience
• Certification in a related field (i.e. CPC) would be a plus, but not required
• Previous medical/health care/insurance industry experience a plus, but not required. All of our training is done onsite !

Technical Requirements

• Technical knowledge of healthcare billing procedures, documentation and standards. Hands-on familiarity with PowerTrak bill review software
• Highly organized and focused. Ability to organize resources and establish priorities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people at all levels inside and outside the organization
• Excellent time management skills
• Proven customer service skills; Strong “people” skills
• Demonstrates initiative and has a positive attitude
• Mathematical aptitude (figuring PPO discounts, max rates, percentage fees, etc.)
