ROLE SUMMARY
The Medical Customer Content and Omnichannel Solutions Lead role will be accountable for the development of content creation and channel optimization capabilities across all the disease states, products and regions in Medical Affairs. The individual tasked with this responsibility will drive the strategy for identification of optimal channel and content deployment and facilitate their implementation across various matrixed teams. Will also develop mechanisms to quickly scale up best practices and improve omnichannel content creation, deployment and impact while also improving competencies of Medical Affairs staff in this area.
This is a role within the Pfizer’s Chief Medical Affairs Office, which is part of Pfizer Biopharma Business, Commercial organization of Pfizer, and will report directly into the Chief Medical Affairs Officer for Global Medical Excellence & Innovation (GME&I) and will be responsible for leading a group of highly skilled practitioners to elevate the planning and execution of content and channel solution at Pfizer. This individual will be a member of the Global Medical Excellence & Innovation leadership team.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead strategic direction for medical content and channel solutions at Pfizer
  • Successfully partner with scientific and geographic leaders to implement best practices in content creation and channel deployment rapidly and consistently across Biopharma Medical Affairs
  • Identify next frontier content and channel capabilities, tech-enabled tools and platforms, digital channel adaptation, and initiatives focused on content and channel innovation
  • Collaborate with the various therapeutic area-focused teams (Categories) and other partners (e.g., digital, Commercial Biopharma Ops) to develop novel content strategies for content creation, quality control, tagging, modularization, localization, storage, and delivery
  • Collaborate with the therapeutic area-focused teams (Categories) to develop novel channel strategies for identification, review and due diligence, digital adaptation, planning, and dissemination
  • Refine and continuously look for opportunities to improve standards and processes to scale up centralized operational content and channel support for appropriate categories
  • Grow talent by identifying and providing growth opportunities for individuals interested in medical affairs and to empower diagonal moves
  • Act as a key enabler in building a strong culture and driving the Global Medical Excellence & Innovation Chief Medical Affairs Officer (GME&I CMAO) innovation agenda
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred. Science degree preferred.
  • At least 15 years experience in Consumer Healthcare or other consumer-oriented marketing field in a regulated industry
  • Broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment; experience in Science based roles is an advantage
  • Experience in high-impact scientific communication, -education, and omnichannel development/strategies
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and mastery of working in a matrix environment
  • Must be able to both drive strategy and execute with speed and high quality
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and strategic mindset
  • Track record of strong networking and working collaboratively across functions and geographies
  • Executive presence and ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization

For roles based in New York City: The annual base salary for this position ranges from $244,600.00 to $407,800.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
