CDR Health Care Inc. is seeking individuals who are interested in working as a Laboratory Technician. This role will perform laboratory tests for clinical diagnosis while adhering to laboratory policy and guidelines of licensing and regulatory agencies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operate medical equipment to collect samples and perform simple diagnostic tests for patients.
• Maintain the functionality, cleanliness, and hygiene of this equipment.
• Label and store collected specimens effectively.
• Communicate findings to doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel.
• Follow all procedures and protocols to ensure our office operates as efficiently and effectively as possible.
• Prepare operating rooms for patients and doctors.
• Safeguarding data and maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Complying with company policies and procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.
  

OTHER PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Other duties that may arise from time-to-time and/or are commensurate with the title and position.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• MLT or MT with a Florida state license
• 2+ years in a clinical laboratory or related environment.
• Proficient knowledge of sample collection and medical laboratory terminology.
• Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Suite which includes Word, Excel, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially to a diverse range of audiences and settings.
• The ability to make decisions.
• The ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to deal with high pressure
• Flexible schedule to include late afternoon and evening hours and Overtime and weekends as needed to provide support for safety emergencies or incidents that occur after hours or on weekends
• Ability to travel at least 40% throughout US. Via plane or car.
• Must have a valid active and clear Driver’s license.
