Job Title: Practice Manager Effective Date: 1/1/2023
Kettering Network Radiologists, Inc. (KNRI) is a private practice of 55 Radiologists, 3 Nuclear Medicine Physicians, 8 Physician Assistants and 6 Radiology Residents covering the Kettering Health Network (KHN) comprised of 8 hospitals (119 bed- 500 beds), 20 associated KHN outpatient centers, 11 emergency departments and 4 trauma centers, and several independent imaging centers.
KNRI is seeking an experienced radiology group medical practice manager. The successful candidate will oversee four office staff that manage all aspects of day to day operations. In addition, the successful candidate will serve as the primary Human Resource Manager responsible for all aspects of the employment lifecycle.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Practice Management
- Promote excellent customer service by all levels of the staff.
- Develop and administer KNRI policies and procedures pertaining to office processes.
- Prepare work schedule for office staff to ensure proper coverage of department.
- Support capital investment needs by identifying key investments that promote efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in operational implementation of new business.
- Assist in special projects / project management.
Human Resources
- Manage the hiring process, including advertising positions, reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews (including physicians), conducting reference and background checks, drafting offer letters.
- Manage onboard process for new employees
- Create job descriptions
- Oversee bi-weekly and monthly payroll via third party payroll service.
- Administer employee benefits
- Complete and submit paperwork to external agencies including worker’s compensation claims, unemployment claims, verification of employment, etc.
- Maintain employee handbook and organizational staffing chart
- Oversee annual employee review process
- Ensure compliance with labor laws
- Participate in disciplinary and termination meetings
Information Technology
- In conjunction with staff, develop IT roadmap including investments needed for efficient operations of information technology.
- In conjunction with staff, oversee daily information technology operations, including hardware up time for all clinicians.
- Partner with staff to serve as a backup resource for information technology needs.
- Manage relationships with information technology vendors.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in a related field.
- Human Resource Certification strongly preferred
- Certified Medical Manager (CMM) or Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) preferred.
- Knowledge of radiology group practice operations strongly preferred
- Knowledge of human resource principles required
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and state and federal laws.
- Computer skills including knowledge of relevant software.
- Two to three years in a supervisory or management position required.

- Able to operate with integrity and protect confidentiality of office and clinical staff.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
