Program Support Specialist (PSS): Outpatient/Medical Services [Position # 250]
Our Outpatient/Medical Services Program provide Client-centric support to a diverse population of those in SWFL who need access to reliable, proactive and transformative care.
We are in a position to add an additional Team Member to our Program Support Staff - this is a unique opportunity to utilize your customer services skills in an environment where every phone call, every hello and every keyboard stroke makes a difference!
POSITION DETAILS:
- Providing autonomous support to all individuals in the Outpatient Medical Services Program.
- Maintaining emphasis on Client care and their experience at DLC with enthusiasm and compassion.
- Auditing records, ensuring compliance and completing filing.
- Contributing to efficiency by suggesting new ideas for process and procedure.
- Representing DLC via multi-line phone interaction and email correspondence.
- Performing accurate data entry for:
~ Accounts Receivable
~ Medical Records
~ Monetary Transactions
~ Insurance Verification
TO JOIN OUR ELITE OUTPATIENT SUPPORT TEAM:
- High School Diploma/GED = Required
- 1 years related Client-Facing Customer Service Experience = Required
- Knowledge of best practices regarding HIPAA = Preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) = Preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365/Teams = Required
- Professional, pleasant and patient communication style (phone and in-person) = Required
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, integrity and trust = Required
- Proven success in maintaining composure while in high-pressure situations = Required
- Unshakable ability to manage time, information and tasks in an efficient manner = Required
- Ability to relate to and communicate with a diverse group of colleagues and community members = Required
- Dedication to the organization's mission, standards, procedures and protocol = Required
- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required
- Ability to pass a DCF Level II Mental Health Fingerprinting, Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required
LOGISTICS & COMPENSATION:
SIGN-ON BONUS!
- Full-Time Hourly/Non-Exempt position
~ 7:30AM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday
~ 7:30AM-3:00PM Friday
~ NO Evenings, Weekends or Holidays!
