Roles and responsibilities of a Scribe ( NIGHT SHIFT)

· MANDATORY ... make certain that all scribe data is comprehensively reviewed by the ED physician.

· Document the history and physical exam as it is being performed by the physician and relayed to the Scribe.

· Document contemporaneously procedure notes and treatment notes performed and as dictated by the physician.

· Check on the progress of the CT Scan, Ultrasound, laboratory and other ancillary test results and hand them to the physician for his/her review; the scribe and nurse work together to accomplish this task.

· Transcribe the results of the CT Scan, Ultrasound, laboratory and other ancillary test results after they are reviewed by the physician.

· Make sure that patient medical records are completed by the ED physician at the end of every shift with comprehensive review of scribe data entry.

· Scribe reports directly to Lead Scribe and/or Facility Medical Director

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $13.50 per hour
