Austin Industrial is seeking a Medical Technician to be based out of our Deer Park, TX Office.
Medical Technician
The purpose of this job is to perform various health-related assessments of employee-owners to assist in determining their readiness to perform work in an industrial setting. Responsible for performing a variety of health-related tests, maintaining records, administering first aid, and other duties required to professionally administer the occupational health care needs of employee-owners.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Screen candidates in regards to their previous and current medical conditions
and history, and document medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Conduct pre-employment, random, and post-incident drug screen collections - observed
- Perform medical assessments, pulmonary function tests, audio metric screening, breath alcohol testing,
and respiratory fit tests
- Maintain a working relationship with primary medical review officer to ensure
OSHA Compliance
- Utilize third-party drug screening facilities to schedule drug screening and medical assessments using Form-Fox.
- Identify remote medical facilities and set up accounts, as needed
- Manage non-Disa random drug screening program for site and office locations
- Schedule site personnel drug screen collection and reasonable suspicion training
- Maintain medical supply inventory and order new supplies, as needed
- Design medical work flows and implement new procedures
- Calibrate medical equipment as needed
- Primary point of contact to answer medical questions for employee-owners, as
needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required for this Position
Experience
- 2 or more years of experience in an occupational or industrial environment preferred
- Current certifications for observed drug screen collections, audio screenings, and pulmonary function testing.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
