MEDICARE BILLING SPECIALIST
Precision Staffing is seeking a Medicare Billing Specialist to be placed at a well-known healthcare network in Cincinnati. As the Medicare Billing Specialist, you will be responsible to expedite positive cash flow, maximize reimbursement and reduce/eliminate financial loss to the department customers by accurate, efficient, timely billing, follow-up and collections of patient accounts. - Pay: $18 to $27
- Shift: Mon-Fri
- Hours: 7:30-8:30am arrival time +8-hour shift
- Location: Blue Ash, OH 45236; Must be fully onsite during training/temp period, some flex to be hybrid if/when hired on permanently. 1 Friday WFH during a 2-week period, plus 4 other days, not necessarily consecutive- must be in office for first three days of the month for closing out prior Month End.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF MEDICARE BILLING SPECIALIST
- Responsible for the timely and accurate follow-up on all patient account balances including insurance and patient financial balances.
- Responsible for processing of the specified number of accounts on a daily basis based on customer specialty and unique billing requirements.
- Must know and understand both Government and Non-Government contractual bulling and follow-up guidelines based on individual payers.
- Resolves all issues and ensures that balances after insurance payments are correct based on contracts.
QUALIFICATIONS OF MEDICARE BILLING SPECIALIST
- Hight school Degree or equivalent Required
- 3+ years of Medicare Billing Required! (5+ preferred)
- Must be proficient in Excel & have Epic Experience
