The Alight Retiree Health Solutions Compliance Operations team is looking for a high-performing Medicare compliance specialist to join our collaborative and energetic team. This position will provide critical support to the Retiree Solutions business. The Compliance Operations Specialist is accountable for supporting overall Compliance Operations responsibilities, including timely completion of deliverables, achievement of objectives, and meeting or exceeding operational and contractual performance standards. This includes completing complex tasks and coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders. The Compliance Operations Specialist will respond promptly, thoughtfully, and effectively to changing work environments, changing priorities, and new situations. They will possess the skills and ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with internal resources, carriers and third parties in a global and virtual working environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build Medicare Compliance knowledge through formal learning and on the job learning experiences
  • Ensure adherence to all team SOPs and process guides
  • Independently handle complex tasks such as general compliance oversight, reporting and data analysis, and communication to key stakeholders
  • Assist with compliance support of business objectives
  • Review and develop responses to Medicare compliance related questions from internal teams
  • Serve as reviewer and contact for carrier complaint requests
  • Monitor and track complaint related metrics to ensure timely response, follow-up and trend analysis
  • Adhere to deliverable timeline requirements

Required Experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently, both independently and as a team
  • Business/financial acumen
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with business productivity tools and Microsoft applications
  • Skilled at properly researching, identifying and documenting issues

Preferred Experience

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Medicare
  • Strong understanding of the CRM system and its interactions
