PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Develops, implements and updates BGCSDC’s membership application processes and procedures for all Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties Club locations. Collects and maintains data for funding and program reporting requirements. Works with the Training and Program Development Coordinator to accurately establish the data points required. Maintains and updates club member database and statistical information, maintains and updates program calendar and webpage content, accepts and maintains membership payments, maintains electronic and hard copy files and provides a high standard of customer service.
KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):

  • In conjunction with the Director of Program Services, develops, implements, and updates BGCSDC’s membership and other grant application processes and procedures. Maintains membership applications and enters information into a database and prepares statistical reports.
  • Implements quality service initiatives for the Club’s Front Desk Services. This includes the development and implementation of Front Desk processes and procedures and developing and providing training for Front Desk Staff.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating the electronic and hard copy filing systems, making sure they are accurate and timely and facilitating easy retrieval of information.
  • Updates and maintains Organizational data for consistency and accuracy.
  • Responsible for adjustment and distribution of Club School Year and Summer Program Calendars.
  • Responsible for adjustment and distribution of Parent Manuals per session
  • Collects membership dues and prepares transmittals for Finance Department.
  • Prepares and disseminates information to Club and Program Directors, volunteers, members and families as instructed.
  • Creates, Implements and Records Surveys/Pre/Post Tests.
  • Collects, organizes and inputs data to maintain grant and funding requirements.

RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Maintains close, daily contact with the Operations Team (professional and volunteer) and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/ instructions; instruct; and advise/counsel.
External: Maintains contact with members, families and the general public to give and obtain information, either in response to inquiries or as instructed by the supervisor.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in data collection preferred but not required.
  • Work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or a similar agency.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and develop solutions to problems with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated organizational, staff and project management abilities.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Required to stand, walk, and sit. Able to use hands and fingers on a (computer) keyboard and other office equipment.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Perform Safety-sensitive culture requiring a constant state of alertness.
  • The noise level in the work environment is high due to work being conducted in a Club for children, inside and outside settings.
  • Climb ladders up to 8 feet.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
