Blue Sea Educational Consulting, Inc. a professional collaborative that utilizes integrative and multi-modal approaches to providing comprehensive services, is expanding the Mental Health division and is looking for experienced mental health clinicians, licensed/license-eligible (Masters Level, Ph.D., PsyD.: Counseling Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, School Psychologists, MFT, LCSW, LMHC, LPC) to join our team.

This is an independent contracting position that enables providers to build their caseloads with mental health related services to students (K-12) and their families throughout Long Island, New York.

This is an excellent opportunity for mental health professionals who would like experience with a variety of presenting issues such as anxiety, depression, school refusal behaviors, ODD and clients with co-morbid ASD.

Discipline Specific Performance Description:

The clinician will provide bilingual (if applicable), individual and or familial, consultative services.

Required Knowledge and Delivery of:

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
• Development and Lifespan Psychology
• Marriage and Family Therapy/Therapeutic Approaches
• Knowledge of assessments and related report writing in accordance with program standards

Population includes:

• Child/Adolescent/Emerging Adult Populations
• Groups
• Families

Written Reports & Attendance:

• FBA & BIP Evaluations, Reports & Annual Reviews
• Attendance and participation in CSE and other Team Meetings as needed
• Field Work for providing therapeutic services and conducting assessments

General Responsibilities Include:

• Providing therapeutic services for students and/or their families in a variety of settings to include, but not limited to: school settings, home and other school-based/clinical environments.
• The ability to manage and maintain a clinical caseload independently and efficiently with the use of company templates and timelines.
• Developing interventions in coordination with the IEP/School District requirements, client and/or family.
• Provide individual, parent, family and group counseling.
• Knowledge of resources in the community.
• Complete comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, progress notes and other documentation in a timely manner.
• Meet billing requirements as set by Blue Sea Educational Consulting.
• Engage in/complete continuing education requirements.
• Maintain external supervision and open communication with Blue Sea Supervisor (discipline specific).
• Collaborating with all stakeholders including other family members, school staff and administration, outside therapists/medical professionals as needed.
• Helping clients achieve growth by establishing and working toward achieving positive measurable outcomes.

Job Status: 1099 (Independent Contractor Status)
