Merchandise Coordinator Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the fulfillment and shipment of all online merchandise store orders, as well as exchanges, returns and general customer service.
  • Working with Merchandise Manager and Merchandise Coordinator to drive forward the long-term goals of an online store that engages with all consumers of a Ventures Endurance event (participant, spectator, family member, etc.).
  • Working closely with Merchandise Manager and Merchandise Coordinator on inventory management and product ordering.
  • Continued awareness of market and industry product standards, ranging from endurance athletes to novice fun-run participants.
  • Managing event preparation tasks such as POS system setup, product pulls, packing and organizing onsite merchandise store materials, inventory/restock supplies, equipment, etc.
  • Traveling to events to oversee the onsite merchandise space, interacting and troubleshooting with customers, and managing volunteers utilized to process sales and maintain the retail space.
  • Travel obligations ~25% annually.
BASE SALARY: $40,000 - $50,000/annually

Required Skills:
  • 1+ year in a Product Planner, Product Line, Retail, Operations or Event role. Previous experience with sport/performance soft goods a plus.
  • Interest in the endurance event space and understanding of consumer interests within the industry.
  • E-commerce experience preferred, but not required.
  • Proven attention to detail with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to hold oneself accountable and an aptitude for prioritizing multiple projects.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and approach to managing projects and problem solving.
  • Ability to forge interdepartmental relationships and build a strong team atmosphere.
