Title: Metal Preparation Department - Operator

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Prep Department Lead

Job Description:

Our company is dedicated to recruiting and rewarding exceptional people. We have a dynamic, exciting, and team-oriented work environment and are currently seeking an Operator in our Metal Preparation Department.

The successful candidate will be cross trained in six different phases of the metal preparation process and the position offers an opportunity to demonstrate and learn valuable skills both individually and in a team environment.

Compensation:

DOE, plus a competitive benefits package. Overtime opportunities exist.

Responsibilities:

· Cross-train in six different aspects of metal preparation – each step of the process brings a unique element to the position.

· Operate automated and semi-automated equipment and gain knowledge and experience with a variety of machines. Training provided.

· Meet production goals, both individually and assist team members to meet team goals.

· Help maintain a clean, organized work area.

· Other similar duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

· Friendly, hard-working attitude who enjoys working and succeeding in a team environment

· Enjoy structure and process-oriented workflow where individual performance is measured, honored and team goals achieved and celebrated.

· Must be able to stand for 8-10 working hours and lift 25 pounds regularly.

· Ability or willingness to work efficiently without supervision

· Strong attendance and reliable transportation (we are located on a bus line)

· Must speak, read, and write English legibly
