Middle School Teacher
Job description
An energetic and enthusiastic junior high Math Teacher needed at St. Gregory the Great School.
Implement and teach to the Common Core State Standards in ELA, Math, as well as other content subjects.
- Prepare, with a growth mindset, daily lesson plans with measurable objectives, procedures, and assessment.
- Design a classroom conducive to the needs of various learning styles.
- Reference STAR Data or other Data to improve instruction.
- Integrate technology throughout the curriculum.
Requirements
- Valid Commission on Teacher Credentialing Certificate in K-12 (completed or in progress)
- Two or more years of prior teaching experience as a full-time teacher
- Proficiency in technology integration and implementation using GoogleClassroom, iPads, SmartBoards, and PC/Mac as learning tools
- Strong classroom management skills
- Must share the St. Gregory the Great community’s vision and mission to love God, love self, love others and love learning
- Uphold the importance of personal values, moral standards, and integrity by being a role model in the school community
- Commitment to professional conduct, team-building, on-going professional growth
- Knowledge of Common Core Standards curriculum preferred

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
