Odyssey is looking for a Senior Missile Warning Analyst to join the team supporting Headquarters Space Operations Command (HQ SpOC) at Peterson SFB. In this role you can expect to provide subject matter expertise to operational Space Force MW units. This requires an understanding of the weapon system. Current and future architecture includes; Defense Support Programs (DSP) satellites, Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) Geosynchronous (GEO) satellites; Highly Elliptical Orbit (HEO) sensor payloads, NextGen Satellites, Mission Control Station (MCS), MCS-Backup (MCSB), Fixed Survivable facilities, Mobile Ground System (MGS), SBIRS Survivable and Endurable Evolution (S2E2), Joint Tactical Ground Station (JTAGS), Ground Based Radar, survivable and non-survivable communication systems, satellite command and control systems, and worldwide relay ground stations
This is a full-time position at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Provide technical services to support operational missile warning units. Includes requirements analysis clarification, identification of shortfalls, operational implementation support, training, testing, communications, sustainment, and logistics.- Provides evaluation of system concepts, functional concepts, and other documents, as required.
- Supports activities and proposals for satellite constellation optimization, site activation for software modification, updates and integration activities for prime, interim and back-up fixed operational sites, survivable/endurable ground entities and relay ground stations.
Qualifications:
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance
: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance
Education: High School Diploma
Years’ experience: 5 years relevant missile warning experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Clearance : TS/SCI
