Lenderworks’ mortgage services platform encompasses the areas of Secondary Marketing, Post Closing, Servicing, Compliance, Quality Control, Finance/Accounting, IT, Solutions Development, Project Management, and Business Systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Must be able to read and understand investor/agency guidelines and requirements.
- Assist with rollout of new and existing products to production.
- Respond to investor related questions from lenders.
- Maintain Investor point of contact for exceptions and problem resolution.
- Distribute and maintain applicable announcements from investors to lenders and clients.
- Update product guidelines and matrices, as need.
- Assist with on-board training for new hires.
- Must be able to apply multitasking abilities while prioritizing tasks by importance. Be able to adjust priorities as situations change.
Requirements Education and Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years mortgage experience with understanding of investor/agency guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree, or two - three years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA and VA Investor guidelines.
- Underwriting/processing experience, preferred.
Abilities and Skills:
- Mortgage experience with understanding of Investor and Product guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to correspond concisely through email is required.
- Ability to build and maintain solid relationships/partnerships with customers and staff across all segments.
- Skilled at working independently without the need for supervision.
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent planning, time management and follow-up ability.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Customer Service Oriented
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required. Experience with AllRegs, Encompass and/or SharePoint preferred.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
