MOSDOH - Student Success Coordinator
Job description
A.T. Still University's Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) is seeking a non-exempt Student Success Coordinator on the Kirksville, Missouri, campus. The position reports to the Assistant Director & Student Success in the absence of the Director of Student Success. The Student Success Coordinator serves as the first step of reviewing MOSDOH admissions applicant files and assists in the MOSDOH student interview process, coordinates the day-to-day activities of the Director of Student Success, maintains student profiles in E*Value including immunizations, and approves student organizations room requests for meetings in the IPE.
Major Job Duties
Serve as the first step of reviewing MOSDOH admissions applicant files
- Maintain E*Value records
- Create all new student profiles (D1) and maintain all other student profiles (D2-D3)

Immunizations (D1-D4)
CPR Certifications (D1-D4) and assist with ordering BLS supplies
Update all student success electronic files as information is received
Assist in MOSDOH student interview process
Take the lead role in tracking immunizations & making sure students are in compliance with required immunizations (D1-D4) and Advanced Standing International Dentistry Program by working with the Assistant Director & Student Success
Maintain the student portal and update it on a regular basis
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain interview results and offer/decline reports for the MOSDOH Chair of Admissions Committee (Assistant Director Admissions & Student Success)
- Serve as a non-voting member on the Admissions Committee scribing meeting minutes
- Coordinate admissions committee voting in AMP weekly from October – April
- Update new student acceptance packets
- Maintain inventory of giveaways
- Prepare giveaway order
- Work with communications & marketing on a design
- Select giveaways in coordination with the Director, Student Success
- Track student leadership in organizations
- Update student excused absences in google calendar and google sheet
- Assist with the planning of student events (White Coat Ceremony, Orientation, D2 Transition and any other events as requested by the Dean and/or Senior Associate Dean, Academic Affairs)
- Generate reports as required by the Dean, Senior Associate Dean, Academic Affairs and other administrators as needed
- Maintain and track student lockers and combination lock use
- Assist with purchasing requests
- In the absence of the Sr. Administrative Assistant, answer the main MOSDOH phone line and direct calls to the appropriate individual and serve as the first line of contact for all visitors to MOSDOH
- Other duties as assigned by the Senior Associate Dean, Academic Affairs
Skills/Responsibilities
- Excellent computer skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and I-pad knowledge
- Knowledgeable of Google email functions, electronic calendars, linking Google documents and Internet search engines
- Effective time management skills
- Writing, proofing, and editing abilities
- Professional office and phone etiquette
- Team player, willing to work independently and closely with others and especially be willing to treat students, faculty and staff in a collegial manner
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work without constant supervision
- Must be able to juggle several projects while meeting deadlines
- Must represent ATSU in a highly professional manner, both internally and externally

Experience
Required- 2 - 3 years: Project management experience
- 2 - 3 years: Secretarial/office management experience
- 2 - 3 years: Experience with computer entry, data management using spreadsheets.
- 2 - 3 years: Experience in a university or health care professional institution is helpful
