Supervisor: Outdoor Recreation Program Manager
Duties: The Mountain Biking Program Leader is responsible for the safety and group management of four to thirteen participants while out in the field, instructing mountain biking technical skills, rider safety, trail etiquette, pre-trip
communication, coordinating trip logistics, utilizing LNT and other environmentally friendly practices, cooperating with other staff, proactive risk management, and overseeing medical concerns. This position requires extensive experience in mountain biking, teaching groups, and operating in remote backcountry settings.
Wage: 12-step salary scale: $19.76 to $27.36 per hour. Starting wage DOE.
Benefits: Part-time employees accrue sick leave at one hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked. Discount on most Park District classes, free pool pass at the Aquatic Center, and basic fitness membership at the Bainbridge Island Recreation Center (BIRC) while employed for employees and dependents.
