The MRO Coordinator supports manufacturing by monitoring and maintaining parts inventory, creating, and sending Purchase Orders (POs) to vendors, receiving materials, and processing invoices for payment by Accounts Payable.

Duties:

Purchasing:

  • Restocks consumables, critical spare parts, and parts inventory
  • Provides PO delivery status updates for outstanding orders from respective vendors
  • Corrects and manages AP MRO Outstanding Issues
  • Maintains an excellent relationship with outside vendors
  • Review sales orders and work with accounts payable to ensure accurate pricing, invoice matches, and no payment discrepancies
  • Follow up on back orders with vendors, update ship dates, keep staff updated on revised dates, and correct issues at receiving

Inventory Management:

o Manages physical spare parts inventory, and ensures they are placed in appropriate storage locations

o Maintains and receives all spare parts inventory in both Mainsaver & AS400 Systems.

o Performs weekly/quarterly MRO Cycle counts Mainsaver system, and researches and reconciles discrepancies

o Organizes parts room area per 5S Process (Sustain, Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize)

o Track, maintains and files warranty claims with respective vendors

o Manages internal transfers including shipping and receiving

o Setting up new parts in MainSaver system and placing them in inventory

o Sending parts out for repair

o Creating and tracking work orders

Receiving:

  • Scanning and saving packing slips and tracking incoming and outgoing UPS shipments

Operation support:

  • Assists technicians during downtime events
  • Create work order kits of all necessary parts and tools to ensure mechanics can complete repair
  • Provides database support on-site acting as a subject matter expert
  • Coordinates with Maintenance and Production Teams to effectively execute Repair work orders
  • Attends monthly parts room calls

Schedule –

12-hour Day Shift - 4:30 AM –4:45 PM; 3 days on (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) / 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) / and so on.

  • Double-time (twice the regular hourly rate of pay) for 8 of the 12 hours worked on Sunday.

Pay: $21 to $27 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements:


Education – High School diploma or GED / HSE required.

Qualifications – Three or more years of related experience, including forklift operation and use of an Inventory Management software system and Microsoft Outlook.

Experience in AS400 or MainSaver, preferred. Practical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, preferred. Purchasing experience that includes sourcing vendors and negotiating terms, preferred.

Skills - Well organized work habits; Adherence to procedures; High sense of service in support of Maintenance Associates.
