We are rapidly expanding and need a talented Multimedia Copy & Content Writer in INDIANAPOLIS, IN (Not a remote position) that can balance multiple projects at once to support the growing demands of the company. You will need to be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and print design. You will be tech and internet-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaigns. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager to create marketing advertisements for both digital and print, product photography and product packaging designs.

Primary Responsibilities

· Develop written content that is accurate, engaging, and error-free for various onsite and offsite mediums including but not limited to product pages, blog posts, press releases, and newsletters as assigned, that are aligned with brand content pilar strategies and written with optimal SEO best practices

· Brainstorming and proposing copy concepts and ideas for any written content when an assignment is open to suggestions

· Interpreting direction and technical information to develop persuasive copy concepts

· Proofread any written content for spelling, grammar, and cohesiveness as it pertains to the marketing department

· Research and stay up to date on state and federal laws and technical product information surrounding Delta 8, cannabis, and other cannabinoids

· Monitor the relevancy and status of all written content

· Support social media efforts as necessary

REQUIREMENTS

· 3+ years full-time multimedia content writer

OR

· Minimum of:

o 600 hours or 200 blog posts

o 160 hours or 20 press releases

o 300 hours or 75 newsletters

o 20 product and/or category pages (preferred but not required)

· Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing, Professional and Technical Writing, Media and Journalism, English, Liberal Arts, or any other similar field or related experience.
